The California College Promise Grant (CCPG) helps eligible students by paying for the per-unit enrollment fee at any California community college.
Once you qualify for the CCPG, you need to keep up your grades and complete your classes to stay eligible.

Academic Standard: Keep a GPA of 2.0 or Higher
If your GPA is below 2.0 for two semesters in a row, you could lose your CCPG.
Progress Standard: Finish More Than Half of Your Classes
If you complete 50% or less of your classes for two semesters in a row, you could lose your CCPG.
Combined Academic & Progress Standards Rule
If you have low grades or don’t complete enough classes in two semesters in a row, you may lose your CCPG.
You’ll get a notice within 30 days after each term if you are on Academic or Progress Probation.
The notice will warn you that if it happens again next term, you might lose your CCPG for the next time you register for classes.

Good news! If you are a foster youth or former foster youth (24 or younger), you will not lose the CCPG under these rules.
